Ryan Giggs believes that Adam Lallana has been a key player in Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp this season.
The England midfielder has earned plenty of praise for his performances for the Reds this season to help the Merseyside outfit challenge for a top-four finish in Klopp’s first full campaign in charge.
Lallana, 28, has scored seven goals and made seven assists in 27 Premier League games for Liverpool so far this season.
And Manchester United legend Giggs has been thoroughly impressed by what he has seen from the midfielder so far this term as he named him in his team of the season in the Premier League.
Giggs wrote in The Telegraph: “[Lallana is] currently injured but he has been a major part of what makes Liverpool’s system work.
“High energy and great quality when he is on the ball.”
