Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea players that the Premier League title is far from sewn up as he prepares his side for their crunch clash against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues head into this weekend’s round of fixtures seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they look to take a step closer to the title by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend.
However, their lead at the top could be slashed down to four points should Tottenham win at home against Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime.
And Conte insists that his side are not getting carried away by their position at the top of the table before Sunday’s game.
Speaking at his news conference at Cobham on Friday, Conte said: “We are fighting for the title, until the end.
“This was our target, we are in a good position to fight for it. The road is long, this race will be until the end of the season.”
