Paul Pogba looked to be in good shape as he busted out some sets on the bench press at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground on Thursday.
The Manchester United midfielder has been out of action since suffering a hamstring strain during the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Rostov in the Europa League earlier this month.
Jose Mourinho confirmed on Wednesday that Pogba would not be ready for Manchester United’s Premier League clash against West Brom at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
However, the French midfielder is clearly determined to make sure that he is in top shape for when he does make his comeback.
Pogba shared the video clip of himself on the Bench Press at Carrington on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Bonjour bench press @manchesterunited #neverfollow @adidasfootball”
Manchester United head into their clash with West Brom in fifth place in the Premier League table as they chase a top-four finish in Mourinho’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were 3-1 winners over Middlesbrough in their last Premier League game before the international break.
Manchester United will move into fourth place if they win their two games in hand over Liverpool.
