Paul Merson has urged Arsenal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann in the summer transfer window.
The France international has scored 13 goals and has made six assists in 25 games in La Liga this season as Griezmann continues to underline his undoubted talent.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old Striker at the end of the 2016-17 season as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options.
However, the Red Devils’ international has reportedly lessened in recent weeks as Manchester United turn to Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.
“I’d buy Antoine Griezmann, he’s world class, but finding top young centre-backs in an era when everybody wants to be Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo is tough,” Merson said.
Diego Costa has scored 17 times to help Chelsea move 10 points clear of their closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Sanchez is Arsenal’s leading goal-scorer after a return of 17 goals in 26 games in the current campaign.
