John Terry has taken to social media to congratulate N’Golo Kante on his goal after the midfielder fired the Blues to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Monday night.

The French midfielder was named as the man of the match after his sparkling display for the Blues as he inspired Chelsea into the semi-finals.

Kante has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers this season following his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City last summer.

The midfielder earned plenty of praise for his displays as he helped the Foxes win the title last season and he has continued his fine displays this term.

And Chelsea captain Terry was quick to heap praise on Kante for his contribution on Monday night.

Terry shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Congratulations to all the players and @nglkante on his goal ⚽
