Cesc Fabregas’ wife was impressed with the performance of Antonio Conte’s players after Chelsea were 2-1 winners against West Ham United at London Stadium on Monday night.
The Spain international managed to retain his place in the Chelsea side for the trip across the English capital to take on the Hammers as the Premier League leaders looked to extend their lead to 10 points at the top of the table.
Fabregas’ midfielder partner N’Golo Kante won the ball to set Eden Hazard free before the Belgian forward combined with Pedro Rodriguez before the Chelsea star rounded the West Ham goalkeeper and placed his finish into the net.
The west London side doubled their lead in the second half when Diego Costa netted his 17th goal of the 2016-17 campaign to leave Chelsea well clear at the top of the Premier League table with 11 games to go.
Fabregas is looking to win his second Premier League title after the former Arsenal captain won his first top-flight crown as part of Jose Mourinho’s side in the 2014-15 season.
And his wife took to Twitter to hail Chelsea’s world-class performance.
