John Terry’s wife sent a message to the Chelsea captain after the Premier League leaders booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-final courtesy of a 2-0 win at Wolves on Saturday evening.
The Blues skipper was handed a rare starting spot under Antonio Conte for the trip to the Championship side after finding it difficult to secure a place in the Chelsea XI this term.
And the west London side kept back-to-back clean sheets in the FA Cup thanks to their 2-0 win against Wolves and 4-0 victory over Peterborough United in the previous round.
Pedro Rodriguez and Diego Costa got on the score sheet for Chelsea to help Conte’s men edge one step closer to a domestic double this season.
And Terry’s wife was clearly very happy for her husband after Toni posted the above photo on her Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“2-0 Chelsea ⚽️ @johnterry.26”
