According to the same newspaper, Berlusconi wanted to sack Allegri right after Anderlecht match, but Galliani stepped in and decided to give Allegri one last chance to save his job. This situation has annoyed Berlusconi who is reported to have said to closer friends:
"If someone is willing to buy Milan, I will sell the club immediately. I feel ashamed the way Milan started this season"
