FC Porto defender Rolando has stated his desire to move away from the Portuguese powerhouse and his preferred destination is the red half of Milan.“I’m waiting for a call from the Rossoneri, [as] I will only accept this solution should I leave Porto,” Rolando stated shortly after Porto rejected a €10 million offer from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The Brazilian only wants Milan as they can guarantee him the highest level of exposure on the international stage.
Milan, however, are asking him for patience because the recent sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain has forced the Serie A runners-up into looking for a replacement.
The one thing holding back any potential transfer for Rolando to Milan is Port’s asking price, one they have firmly set at €15 million.
