The former first-rounder is off to a great start this season. Farabee registered a pair of primary assists on the power play at the end of the first period. The 20-year-old also added the go-ahead goal (3-2) late in the middle frame. The Flyers forward also notched the primary helper on his team’s last goal when he threw a puck on net that Pens goalie Tristan Jarry kicked right out to Kevin Hayes, who scored. Farabee finished the night with a plus-2 rating, four shots on goal and one hit in 14:02 of ice time. He was a healthy scratch at times during the Flyers’ playoff run last year, but it looks like he’s going to be an important part of the team in 2021.
