Nighthawk Custom's 1911 VIP is one of the highest end pistols made by the Custom 1911 manufacturer.

The pistol ships with a custom cocobolo hardwood presentation case.

The Slide, frame, trigger, magazine well / mainspring housing, beaver tail, slide stop / release, and Thumb Safety are antique nickel finished.

The engraving is done by hand by a retired Colt master engraver. The grips are elephant ivory. The front sight bead is 14 karat gold plated and the magazines are polished with a jeweled appearance.

All major parts, including slide stop / release, Thumb safety, beavertail, etc are machined from solid steel and are not MIM.
