Holly reversed the take down quickly by Valentina in round one. The Preacher's Daughter controlled the cage fight and held her own striking. Shevchenko though has turned around the second up to the championship round. Holly Holm was handed his second straight loss, Valentina Shevchenko won by unanimous decision.

The co-main event headlining Edson Barboza vs. Gilbert Melendez was amazing. The Brazilian fighter put on a leg kick clinic. He defeated the Mexican-American in a lightweight bout via unanimous decision.

Herb Dean became controversial again with the stoppage he called on Francis Ngannou's hammer on Bojan Mihaljovic which critics said was premature.

Herrig and Wineland took home Performance (s) of the Night bonus and then the Fight of the Night went to Knight Vs. Alers.
