Not exactly the start of the year that Milan Melindo has in mind but he needs to summoned his will and restart after losing his IBF World Light Flyweight Title to tough Japanese opponent  Ryoichi Taguchi New Years Eve in Japan.

Milan Melindo and Ryoichi Taguchi went to contest the fight for full 12 rounds with Taguchi edging all the judges' scorecard that enabled him to keep his WBA Super World Light Flyweight Title and also capture the belt of Melindo and the Ring title.

Score was 117-111 twice and 116-111.

Melindo has won five fights in a row before suffering a defeat against the Japanese foe, his records now drops to 37 wins with 3 losses. Meanwhile, Ryoichi Taguchi is trail blazing to the win column and has not lost since 2013 against the current and undefeated WBO World Super Flyweight Champion Naoya Inoue.
