Pinoy Jenel Lausa Beaten But Still a Proud Pinoy
With high hopes, Filipino fighter Jenel Lausa went inside the cage against Eric Shelton as both fighters look to get a renewed chance at their UFC career. Both coming from a loss, Jenel Lausa and Eric Shelton went at it for three rounds but the man from Davenport, Iowa in the United States came out on top.
It was a hard-fought battle for Eric as he finally gets his first UFC win after suffering two split decision losses in his first two fights. Eric Shelton had some success against Jenel which prompted the referee to score it in his favor. Eric Shelton improves to 11 wins and 4 losses (1w -2 L in UFC).

Jenel Lausa, on the other hand, suffered his first back to back loss in MMA and is now holding an MMA record of (7W-4L). Two of the losses came in the UFC. Jenel Lausa is one of the handful active UFC fighters and the loss tonight means that he needs to get back to the drawing board as he continues his MMA career.
Lausa is a proud fighter from Iloilo, Philippines and was a former boxer before he turned into MMA where he enjoyed an early success. Lausa was also was PXC Flyweight Champion.
