Former WBC Middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (50-3-1,32)  is looking is looking at the possibility of returning in October And now the targeting Super Middleweight showdown with former WBA interim champion Martin Murray of United Kingdom (35-4-1,16).

Chavez Jr wants to prove that it was the weight loss is the reason of his one sided defeat at the hand of Canelo Alvarez and affected his performance against Canelo.

Canelo domited him over 12 rounds at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 6 where Canelo scored shutout unanimous decision win.

Earlier this month Chavez Jr has also shown interest in facing former WBA champion Daniel Jacobs (32-2,29) when he posted photos of Jacobs on social media.
