The Ultimate Guide to Trackman Swing Analysis

I recently published a new Book with Jim McLean (#3 Ranked Golf Instructor by Golf Digest) called The Ultimate Guide to Trackman Swing Analysis. This book is a manual for improving with Trackman. Many of you may not know what Trackman is – but that’s okay. Trackman is the premier technology in the game used by top coaches and players on the PGA and LPGA Tour. We use Trackman at Liberty for the following:

  • Analyze club movement
  • Analyze ball flight
  • Track swing changes
  • Measure carry and total distance with each club
  • Club fitting

I’d like to share a video tip from the section in the book called “Leaning the Shaft Forward with an Iron.” This is one of the biggest concepts beginner and intermediate golfers must learn. Here are the benefits when you lean the shaft forward with an iron:

  • Solid contact (no more thin shots)
  • Ball-first contact (no more hitting behind the ball)
  • Ball compression (this is how the pros swing so smooth but still achieve incredible distance)

Video tips are available when you purchase my new book but I’m granting you access to this video: CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO

I also recommend visiting Trackman’s website if you’d like to learn more about the technology. Click here to visit Trackman’s blog.
