Yann Karamoh says he hopes to win the Serie A title with Inter after arriving from Caen on deadline day.
Karamoh joins Inter on a two-year loan with a compulsory purchase option, and the teenage winger made it clear he harboured Scudetto ambitions with the Nerazzurri.
“I’m very happy to have joined Inter,” he told Inter Channel.
“I hope to help the team achieve their objectives. We want to win the Scudetto.
“For me it is a great opportunity. There are great players here and I’ve already seen ability in the first few games of the season.
“My features? I’m quick and good at dribbling and changing pace. As for San Siro, I hope to adapt to it quickly.
“It’ll be a strange feeling because I often saw it on TV as a kid, hosting so many big games with so many great players.”
According to an Inter press release:
“Out of all the players in Europe’s top five leagues born after 1st January 1998, only [Kylian] Mbappé was involved in more goals than Karamoh during 2016-17.
“These statistics show Karamoh to be one of the most promising young players to have made 30 appearances in the top five leagues in 2016-17. The former Caen player also had the most successful dribbles in Ligue 1 with 51.”
