According to the French newspaper France Football, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Inter winger Ivan Perisic.
Perisic has been one of Inter’s best performers this season, but there is a question about where he fits in Stefano Pioli’s system.
Perisic is perfect in a 4-4-2 or even 4-2-3-1 system, but Pioli seems to favor a 3-5-2 formation, in which the wide players act more as wingbacks than wingers, which is not Perisic’s strength. Which is why he has played less than 90 minutes combined in Inter’s two most recent games.
Inter’s requirement to make a profit in the upcoming transfer window is well known. While the Nerazzurri would probably prefer not to sell Perisic, France Football are reporting that PSG are willing to pay €30 million for the winger in January.
Considering that Inter paid €20 million for him in 2015, I am not sure if the Nerazzurri accountants could turn down the opportunity to make a 50% profit on the player in 18 months.
If PSG do offer €30 million for Ivan Perisic, do you think Inter should accept the offer?
