Volvo Ocean Race - #WindandWater - The Vestas 11th Hour Racing - RARE WHALE SIGHTING IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC

On Monday in the midst of the Doldrums, the crew was treated to an exceptional sight: a Whale and shark feeding just off their bow. Onboard reporter, Amory Ross quickly launched his drone to capture the feeding frenzy.

Simon Fisher, navigator onboard, reflected: "These are the things you only really see when you're out here in the middle of the Ocean. It's a nice reminder as well of how important it is is that we're spreading our message of sustainability and you know keeping the oceans clean and preserving nature."
Since posting the video, it has been watched over a half a million times and we have been contacted by whale researchers for access to this rare footage.
