Phillips, who reportedly worked out for Pittsburgh in June, is a big target, checking in at 6’6 and 255 pounds. An undrafted rookie, Phillips caught 55 passes for 536 yards and three touchdowns during his four years at UNLV.
Reports initially surfaced on Tuesday night with regard to Pittsburgh’s signing of White, who recorded 146 tackles and six interceptions during his time at TCU, where he was an All-Big 12 selection his senior season. Undrafted coming out of college, 5’9, 183-pound White has also spent time with the Cardinals before landing with the Steelers.
