Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney suffered a head injury in Scotland’s 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland.
The left-back had gone down after a nasty tussle with Troy Parrott, and the Scotland management deemed it necessary to substitute him before half-time.

Tierney looked to be okay enough to continue, but his national side took no risks knowing his injury history.
Arsenal are now waiting to discover if the Scottish left-back will be available against Tottenham Hotspur next week or not.
Oleksander Zinchenko is likely to be back for the game, so that could soften the blow of Tierney’s injury for the Gunners.
