Manchester United are currently working on a deal to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils are running out of options to bolster their midfield ranks with the European transfer window shutting down on August 31.
The pursuit of the Frenchman is said to be 'irrespective of their ongoing attempts' to bring in Frenkie De Jong who continues to refuse to leave Barcelona.
Rabiot, who has a year left on his Juventus contract, should be available on a cut-price deal. However, Man United are yet to agree personal terms with the 27-year-old.
