Barcelona still have one match left on this pre-season tour, but Jules Kounde is not expected to take part in it. In fact, the new Blaugrana signing won't even travel to the US to join the rest of the squad, Javi Miguel of Diario AS says.
Instead, Kounde will undergo his medicals at the club and will join the squad in training on Monday once they are back from America.
Barca want to be careful with Jules as he is only coming back from a pubis injury. They will develop a special training plan for him to follow.
The Catalans have recently confirmed an agreement in principle over the transfer of Kounde. The club will pay €50m plus add-ons for the defender, with him signing a contract until 2027, as per reports.
