EXPLORED: The Paw Patrol Curse Behind Aaron Judge’s Homerless Streak!

EXPLORED: The Paw Patrol Curse Behind Aaron Judge’s Homerless Streak!

New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge was on pace to smash the all-time high home run record again this year as he hit 51 of those across 136 games played until this writing. His ability to go deep consistently placed him in the front of the AL-MVP race.

However, the past couple of weeks haven’t been ideal. As the New York Yankees lost three series on the trot, Aaron Judge’s lacklustre was highlighted widely. Now, as per conspiracy theorists, Aaron Judge could be cursed due to his appearance on a child anime show. While the claim seems absurd, the timing of the coincidence isn’t.

Aaron Judge’s Homerless Streak Dates Back To His Paw Patrol Episode!

NY Post

On Wednesday, the New York Yankees lost the rubber game to the Texas Rangers by a 10-6 scoreline and accordingly dropped their third series in a row. While the pitchers were awful throughout the past week, captain Aaron Judge’s bat was unusually quiet. The man who was on pace to hit 63 home runs until last week hasn’t hit one in the past nine games. Now, a fan, the theory suggests that Judge’s prolonged home run drought, the longest of his season, may be due to his recent appearance in the children’s anime show “Paw Patrol.” Judge made a guest appearance in the episode of Rubble & Crew, a spin-off of the Paw Patrol, on August 26.

Since that episode aired, Aaron Judge is hitting .194 with zero home runs and only 2 RBIs. The Yankees slugger, who is usually a consistent performer, is chasing his personal record for the most home runs in a single season. However, the recent drought has slowed down his progress, leading some to wonder if this unexpected dry spell could derail his historic chase. While “curses” in sports are often mentioned in jest, they add a fun and speculative narrative to the game. Despite the playful notion of a curse, Aaron Judge remains focused on his game. He has acknowledged the slump but maintains a positive outlook, saying he is confident in finding his form again. More than his personal slump, the captain is worried about the team’s performance as the Yankees lost AL-East first place to the Baltimore Orioles and are now trailing 0.5 games behind with 22 games left on the regular season schedule.

Following the New York Yankees’ 10-6 loss to the Texas Rangers, captain Aaron Judge agreed that some sense of urgency is required at this moment to settle the AL-East battle. The Yanks fell out of first place for the first time in three weeks, and with 22 games left, the race is likely to get fiercer at the end.

“We’re fighting for a division, fighting for a lot right now. We just have to keep trusting each other, and things are going to go our way,” Aaron Judge said. The New York Yankees are scheduled to travel to Chicago to face the Cubs over the weekend, and it’s the perfect opportunity to regain the AL-East lead.
