From 14 to 16 October 2022, the Borneo Trail Classic makes its debut in the Spartan Trail World Championship Series (STWC). Having nine stops globally across four continents, this Sarawak event is its only stop in the whole of Asia.
The 100K Trail Ultra Championship and 50K Trail Run Championship will offer USD 25,000 prize monies to to the top 5 men and women in each category. Points collected from this race at Redeems Center, Kampung Apar, will be collected towards the STWC series leaderboard.
Other race distances available include 7K, 10K and 21K. There will also be a kids fun run for 1K and 3K.
The race through jungles, hills and rivers will have the following cut-off times for the each category: 35hrs for 100K, 17hrs for 50K, 10hrs for 21K and 5hrs for both 10K and 7K.
Registration fees are MYR630 for 100K, MYR420 for 50k, MYR210 for 21K, MYR170 for 10K and MYR110 for 7K. The kids’ Fun Run are priced at MYR30. All Spartan Sarawak racers are entitled to 20% off registration fees across the race categories.
