2018 NHL Playoffs Round 1- Game 6 Open Thread Apr 23/18

Can Boston silence Leafs fans in T.O.? Will Ovie get another chance to face Crosby?

Elimination games are the bestest ever!! Except when they start near the same time. Get your remotes ready.

Boston @ Toronto 7:00 PM ET CBC (Bos leads 3-2)

Toronto nearly lost after having a 4-1 Lead last game. Boston should not spot them that much of a lead in the first place. If Boston beats T.O. in game six, the whole city might have to go to therapy.

Washington @ Columbus 7:30 PM ET SN (Wash leads 3-2)

Columbus is trying to figure out how to win at home to stave off elimination. Washington has petitioned to play the reminder of the playoffs in Columbus. Whoever wins the series gets to play against the Penguins.

Yesterday’s games

Pittsburgh 8 Philadelphia 5 (Pitt wins series 4-2)

This game was a showdown between Sean Couturier and Jake Guentzel. Each had five points for their respective teams. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, they had no one else show up, while Hornqvist had three points and some guy named Crosby had three points. Pittsburgh now awaits the winner of Wash/Columbus.

Nashville 5 Colorado 0 (Nash wins series 4-2)

Whatever power Andrew Hammond had in game 5, completely disappeared in game 6 as he let in some weak goals. Give Nashville credit for out skating the Avs in all ends of the rink. Nashville now gets to play Winnipeg in what should be a fast hard hitting affair.
