Canucks need a win. San Jose doesn’t want them to have one.
When you have been blown out a few games in a row, do you know the remedy for that? Well, for the Canucks it sure ain’t the San Jose Sharks. In the last 10 games the Canucks are 2-8-0 against the Sharks.
And to add to that thrilling stat we get this.
#Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev will miss two to three weeks with a groin strain, coach Travis Green announced today.— Pure Sports NHL (@PureSportsNHL) December 15, 2017
Let’s get all the players injured.
The old men seem to be holding up the best so far. Unfortunately the Sharks really make the Sedins look slow.
The Sharks started out the year slowly but are 3rd in the Pacific with games in hand and are 6-2-2 in their last 10. Brent Burns is back to scoring and Logan Couture is leading the way for the Sharks with 25 points.
Here is a stat for tonight:
Brock Boeser has scored 16 of the #Canucks 83 goals this season (19.3%).— Sportsnet Stats (@SNstats) December 15, 2017
That is the 3rd-highest percent of team goals scored in the NHL.
Please let someone else score tonight. I mean Canuck players.
All streaks are meant to be broken...so the Canucks could win tonight.
Go Canucks Go!
