Tyler Adams is a USA-born 22-year old player, who plays in a central defensive midfield position. At the age of just 16, He started off his career in MLS playing for New York Red Bulls, and then in January 2019, At 20 years of age, he joined the German club RB Leipzig and ever since that, has made a total of 66 appearances for them across all competition and have contributed to the team by one assist and one goal.

Tyler Adams made his US Men national team (USMNT) debut on November 14, 2017, against a strong Portugal side, and ever since that day, he has made a total of 14 appearances for the national team and has scored a goal, which came in a friendly match against Mexico.

Although Arsenal and many other European giants are craving for his signature as they all are being attracted by the American talented sensation, RB Leipzig will still have a stronghold on Adams as he has signed a contract that extends till the end of 2024-25 season.

One thing that has attracted Mikel Arteta and other European clubs to the 22-year old American is the versatility that he can bring to the team as he is capable of not only playing as a central defensive midfielder (CAM), but also Right-sided midfielder (RM) as-well-as right-back position (RB) in defence.

He has shown some great potential talent in the German league and can be capable of unlocking new potential which will help him grow and mature as a football player while playing in the Premier League. He can bring in some squad depth and overall, can bring some quality and stability into the team. Also, keeping in mind that he is just 22 years of age also means that he can be a mainstay for the club for a long time to come.

Also, after the possible departure of Hector Bellerin to the Italian side AS Roma, Mikel Arteta and the Gunners will look for a potential replacement in the squad. And for that, Tyler Adams can be a capable replacement.
