SERENA Williams showed off her parental side as she posted an adorable sweet snap alongside her one-year daughter, Alexis Olympia, on Instagram on Wednesday.
Holding hands with her daughter, the Tennis star, 37, shared a behind-the-scenes picture from her recent GQ photoshoot.
Williams, who last week celebrated her one-year anniversary with husband Alexis Ohanian, expressed how much she loved motherhood when speaking to GQ magazine – with the exception of one thing.
She said: “We do everything together. I love everything about being a mom.
“The only thing I don't love about being a mom is come 7:30, Olympia's in bed and I get sad.
“I'm like, 'Should I go to bed?' Because then if I wake up, I get to see her again.
She added: “I'm keeping a lot of her clothes.
“And then, when she gets a little older, we're going to go over to the foster care and give them away.”
Williams, who reached the final of Wimbledon in her first appearance at SW19 since becoming a mother, has vowed to win "more Grand Slams" before she retires from Tennis.
Her US Open final defeat to Naomi Osaka in September was overshadowed by her stunning outburst to the umpire, where she was charged for several code violations.
Williams was fined £13,100 after calling the umpire a "liar" and "thief" in an amazing rant.
