Watford have agreed a deal to sign Barcelona winger on loan for the rest of the season, according to Spanish source Sport.
The Spanish giants concluded the deal this afternoon following a meeting with the player’s representatives and the Hornets’ sporting director.
The loan deal does not include a purchase option and the player will join the club immediately until 30 June.
The player’s agent was spotted Gines Carvajal was spotted leaving a meeting in Barcelona this afternoon following news breaking of a deal being concluded.
The agreement is understood to include no option to purchase and Watford will pay the full amount of the Deulofeu’s wages until the end of the loan spell.
The player will immediately join the Premier League side and could potentially make his debut against Stoke City on Wednesday.
Watford are understood to be attempting to fast-track the move, with the player possibly arriving in England tonight to complete his move.
The club hope that the player will start training with his new teammates and coach tomorrow to be ready for the Potters.
Deulofeu had a number of other offers on the table, opting for Watford who guaranteed him plenty of game time.
