Premier League Predictions: Wolverhampton and Everton to win

It looks like that the Premier League relegation zone has started shaping. At the same time the fight for the top 4 finish intensified as Manchester united have joined the pack.

Arsenal vs Cardiff City

“I’ve been in football management now 40 years I think it’s by far the most difficult week in my career, by an absolute mile,” said the Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock aftertastes he newly transferred player Emiliano Sala disappeared in what is very likely to be a tragic incident. “It’s traumatic. Even now, I can’t get my head around the situation”, said Warnock.

What can you say? Cardiff City should play and should try to get something out of a very difficult fixture if they want to stay in the Premier League. Arsenal should also try to win and keep chasing for top 4 finish. I don’t think that players from both clubs will be happy to play, but even after such terrible incidents, life goes on and the best players could do is to honor the lost Cardiff City player.

Arsenal to win: 2:1

Fulham vs Brighton

This is the chance for Fulham to get 3 points and keep fighting for their Premier League place. If they don’t do win, the gap to the 17th place would be 10 points, virtually impossible to close. What is worrying about Fulham is that they concede to many goals, while at the same time their strikers miss to many chances.

Brighton are very solid at home, but while on the road they are team who the Cottagers can overcome.

Draw: 1:1

Huddersfield vs Everton

It looks to me that Huddersfield Town should start preparing for the life in the Championship and should be planning how to avoid slipping even further down into League One. EFL Championship is Avery difficult League and nothing should be taken for granted there. The only positive for the Terriers is that they should not feel a pressure anymore. Having won only 11 points in January is something which means that they must focus on their performance. Hopefully, this would help them to get results.

Everton have a lot of prove to their fans. Both the manager and the players should try to finish as close to top of the table as possible. The current 11th place isn’t satisfying.

Everton to win: 1:3

Wolves vs West Ham

Both teams are unpredictable and not managers have plenty of talented players at their disposal. The Wolves’ home form isn’t impressive and they need to improve it if they are about to finish in top side of the table.

The Hammers still have a long list of injured players and their team didn’t look well in the FA Cup against the League One side AFC Wimbledon.

Wolves to win: 2:1

Manchester United vs Burnley

It looks like another United win. Burnley aren’t as good as they were last season. The best that Sean Dyche’s men could achieve this season is to avoid a relegation.

United are just 3 points behind of the fourth placed Chelsea and it looks like they can save the season and qualify for the Champions League.

Man United to win: 3:0

Newcastle United vs Manchester City

Sean Dyche, said that Man City can achieve everything that they want this season after the Pep Guardiola’s men trashed Burnley 5:0 in the FA Cup. However, City are not as good as they were last season. They are still able to play fantastic attacking football, but I thin that they will not be able to win all the points by the end of season, something they really need to do to win another Premier League title.

Newcastle need every point they can win to stay in the English top-flight. The Magpies aren’t good at home, however and I think that City will win on their trip to St. James’s Park.

Man City to win: 1:3

AFC Bournemouth vs Chelsea

I think that Maurizio Sarri overestimated the potential contribution that Gonzalo Higuain could make to his Chelsea side. The 31-old Argentinian will need time to adapt to the Premier League. Despite that he has been a proven goal scorer in Italy, this does not mean he will be successful in England. Sarri’s qualities as a manager are well-known. May you managers weren’t able to make it in the Premier League, however.

I think that Bournemouth have a chance to win something out of this fixture.

Draw: 1:1

Southampton vs Crystal Palace

Last season Southampton won 0:2 on their visit to Selhurst Park last year. At the same time Crystal Palace won at Saint Mary’s Stadium by 1:2. This has to suggest that we could expect everything from this game and I would simply say that tradition will not matter a lot this Wednesday. Both teams need some points to keep their Premier League places and I guess that the draw would be a bad result for any of them.

Draw: 1:1

Liverpool vs Leicester City

Liverpool player must learn as quickly as possible to deal with the pressure which surrounds are team, who’ good enough to win the Premier League. The pressure obviously comes form the fact that none of those players has one a title with their current club and most of them didn’t do it with any other club. Jurgen Klopp is the one who needs to take the pressure on his shoulder and to learn the players how to deal with that.

The media and the punditry have already started playing with the Liverpool’s odds to win the title. Everyone knows that if the reds loose only one game Manchester City will close the gap to 1 point and then everything could happen. For that the Klopp’s men needs to keep winning.

Their Wednesday opponent Leicester City are a very tough team, who is capable of winning games against the biggest sides in the league. No one should be fooled by the recent Leicester City misfortunes and their recent losses – 1:2 against Southampton at home and 4:3 on their visit to Wolverhampton. The Foxes will go to Anfield to play for all the points.

Liverpool to win: 2:1

Tottenham Hotspur vs Watford

Heung-min Son has returned for Spurs from the Asian Cup which should hep to Mauricio Pochettino who’s missing some of his best players. Spurs need to win that one if they are about to keep the pressure on Manchester City and probably on Liverpool. If they don’t they will be involved for the fight to end in the top 4, something which their fans would have taken for granted few weeks ago.

Watford are a good side and thats why the sit 9th in the table, a place that they can keep for themselves at the end of the season. The Hornet would take advantage of the Spurs’ injury hit team and I think that a draw is a likely result.

Tottenham to win: 1:1
