Premier League predictions: Chelsea and Man City to draw, Everton to win

AFC Bournemouth vs Arsenal

The Chelsea vs Manchester City game will answer the question whether the title race will be a two horse race or Chelsea will keep fighting for it.

AFC Bournemouth vs Liverpool

Liverpool haven’t looked well doing the first half on their visit to Burnley. They were predictable and not sharp enough when they were going forward. Jurgen Klopp has virtually replace the whole attack and started with Divock Origi, Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri. They were unable to produce anything within the first half and when Burnley opened the scoresheet it didn’t look like Liverpool will win the game.

Luckily for the Red, they have figures like James Milner in their squad who are capable of turning the things around. Lewis Cook and Dan Gosling will not play for Bournemouth while Joe Gomez is out for Liverpool. Sadio Mane, a very important figure in the Reds squad will be assessed on Saturday as he has picked up a cut foot in the Merseyside derby.

This fixture will be more challenging for Liverpool then the visit to Burnley. Bournemouth are a good, in-form side and the Reds need to be a lit lucky to win this one.

Liverpool to win: 1:2

Arsenal vs Huddersfield Town

Who whether Huddersfield Town would win a point at Emirates if they put a strong defensive performance. Unfortunately for them this Arsenal side is too good and capable of pressing their opponent until they score. I expect Arsenal to win as under Unai Emery they are on a totally different level compared to last season.

Arsenal to win: 2:0

Burnley vs Brighton & Hove Albion

I have underestimated Brighton last week and thought that Crystal Palace would be able to win at Falmer Stadium. I have actually overestimated Palace. Brighton are very strong at home and they have won another important victory. Burnley have opened the scoresheet against Liverpool and were a bit unlucky that James Milner equalized with a shot from out of the box. I think the the Clarets will be vey motivated to win this game and to try to get out of the relegation zone.

Burnley to win: 1:0

Cardiff City vs Southampton

Southampton have just appointed a new manager and hope that he will improve them and the team will start winning games. However, I think that what Southampton lacked wasn’t a good manager, they have one in the like of Mark Hughes. What they need is a better players. Teams who have new managers usually improve their performance a bit. The visit to Cardiff doesn’t come in the right moment for the Saints. however. The Bluebirds have just got themselves out of the relegation zone and will do everything they can to stay above it.

Cardiff to win: 2:1

Manchester United vs Fulham

This is a game that united somehow need to win if they want to stay in the top side of the table. If they don’t the table position will be saying everything that should be said for the Jose Mourinho’s team.

Man United to win: 2:0

West Ham United vs Crystal Palace

This is a London derby in which Crystal Palace need to win at least a point. Marko Arnautovic, one of the best West Ham players this season is out for a month with an unjust and this weakens Hammers a bit. Crystal Palace have been drawn two, won tow and lost once in this derby played at West Ham’s home ground  within the last five years. I think that they’ll record another draw here.

Draw: 1:1

Chelsea FC vs Manchester City

Chelsea have recently been underperforming. The Blues won just 1 point out of heir 3 Premier League games and it was against Everton at home. They have also lost 3:1 to Spurs and 2:1 at Wolverhampton. Manchester City are in form and they look confident and strong. Pep Guardiola has all his players available and this looks like a good moment for the champions to win important 3 points.

However, I think that a different Chelsea team will show up for this game. The Blues might have been temporary down, but they don’t have any serious issues in their squad and I think that they are cable of either drawing or winning against Manchester City.

Draw: 2:2

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spur feel comfortable at King Power Stadium, despite that they have lost 2:1 there last season. Now Tottenham look confident and I think that they have a very good chance to win. Leicester are a very stable team this season, but I think that on this occasion they will not be able to stop Spurs.

Tottenham to win: 1:3

Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton are a bit of a gamble as a team this season. They have lost at home against Huddersfield and then away at Cardiff, just to win 2:1 against Chelsea during the midweek.

Newcastle won a point at Everton after loosing 0:3 at home to West Ham. Rafael Benitez knows how to play a tactical football and this w3ill bring some important points to Newcastle this season. Wolves are the better team then the Magpies as they have more quality players i their squad. However, I think that Newcastle should be able to either draw or win this game.

Newcastle to win: 2:1

Everton vs Watford

Everton fans have been disappointed but the draw their team recorded against Newcastle, after the dramatic stoppage time loss in the Merseyside derby. Watford lost on their last two visits to Goodison Park and think that they will loose again. They were good at home against Manchester City and I think that they will keep winning points, but it looks to me that Everton will find a way to in this fixture.

Everton to win: 2:1
