The transfer windows has closed and I’m now very curious on whether those teams who have signed new player will become stronger, that they were in the first half of the season. Arsenal was one of the teams who has had and interesting transfer window as Arsene Wenger has begun revamping his Gunners.
Burnley vs Manchester City
Burnley has had an excellent first half of the season, but they have already started climbing-down in the table. there is an easy explanation for that. The Clarets have won 35 points so far this season but at the same time are on a negative goal difference. They score less than a one goal per game – 20 goals in 25 games. If Sean Dyche does not change that Burnley would find themselves in the bottom side of the table.
Season looks easy for Manchester City as they keep winning games. The Sky Blues aren’t under pressure as the second in the table Man /united sit 15 points behind them. aT the same time this does not mean that Pep Guardiola’s team can afford to loose points.
Man City to win 1:2
Bournemouth – Stoke City
What a win for the Cherries at Stamford Bridge. Incredible result! Who would ever projected that The Eddie Howe’s team could win against Chelsea at their own ground by 0:3? Now Bournemouth welcome a team which is fighting to avoid relegation. Despite their win in London the Cherreis could loose this home fixture against Stoke City, if they aren’t 100% concentrated in their game.
Stoke City have been disappointing this season. They looks like a team of players who do not know where they are going. Stoke looked very confident and ambitious at the start of the season. However, in the beginning of February they have the worst defence in the Premier League, which have conceded 2 goals per game on average. So it is all about defence for Stoke.
Bournemouth to win: 2:1
Brighton – West Ham
Brighton need to improve their goalscoring record if they want to stay in the Premier League. The Seagulls have found the net on 18 times so far this season. They host a confident West Ham who improved under David Moyes. I don’t see Hammers loosing this game. At the same time Brighton must win at least a point this weekend to avoid going to the bottom of the table.
Leicester City – Swansea
Swansea won against Liverpool and Arsenal when no one believed they could do it. There is hope at Liberty Stadium that the Swans would keep their place in the Premier League. I don’t think that they would get a points at King Power Stadium, however.
Leicester to win: 2:1
Manchester United vs Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield are in trouble. The Terriers need points if to survive in the top flight. Unfortunately for them Old Trafford is the last place where they could grab some at the moment. There is no need to talk about Alexis Sanchez or United’s game at the moment. In terms of their performance on the pitch, the Red Devils are nowhere near the fans want to see them. Jose Mourinho’s team needs to win and I believe that they will do it.
Man Utd to win: 3:0
West Bromwich – Southampton
I don’t believe that West Brom will get relegated at the end of the season. Unfortunately for the Baggies they are at the bottom of the table and win in this home fixture is a must for them. Southampton also need to get something out of this fixture as there are only 3 points between them and West From.
Arsenal – Everton
it looks to me that the Gunners will win this game. it is not going to be easy for them, however. They are team in development t the moment and Sam Allardyce knows very well how to play against such teams. Everton will sit deep and try to use each and every mistake made by the Gunners’ defence. It is actually the defence that needs to be improved. The transfer windows is over and now the only option for Wenger is to do it on the training ground.
Arsenal to win: 2:1
