ARSENAL are waiting for Luciano Acosta to join Paris Saint-Germain before they can complete the deadline day signing of Christopher Nkunku.

Nkunku has made 17 appearances for PSG this seasonBut RMC understand that Acosta's imminent arrival at the Parc des Princes could trigger the departure of the winger.

Acostas move to the French capital is imminentCash-strapped Unai Emery has suffered a difficult January without the funds to make permanent signings.

But talks with Inter Milan ended on Wednesday after failure to agree the terms of the deal , which could have seen a penalty clause included if Arsenal did not complete the permanent addition.

Emiliano Martinez has already left on a temporary basis to join Championship strugglers Reading, while Daniel Barden has moved to Norwich City on a long-term deal.
