Jimmy Buffett Ends National Anthem with Mic Drop at NFC Championship — and ...

Jimmy Buffett dropped the mic after he performed the National Anthem ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game in New Orleans — but not everybody was impressed.

Earlier in the day, the “Margaritaville” singer posted a snap of his rehearsal on Instagram, captioning the photo with the lyrics to the National anthem.

NFL fans posted on Twitter to respond to Buffett’s performance — and many weren’t so happy with his rendition of the anthem.

The NFC Championship Game sees the Los Angeles Rams play against the New Orleans Saints.

This year’s Super Bowl halftime show will feature Maroon 5 , Big Boi and rapper Travis Scott , who agreed to perform at the event on the condition that the NFL would join him in a joint donation to a charitable cause.

In partnership with the league, Scott will make a $500,000 contribution to Dream Corps , a non-profit organization that champions social justice.
