Piranha Plant Will Join 'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate' Roster Next Month


According to the post, which also reminds players to claim their Gold Points before the end of this month so that you can receive the fighter for free -- the plant with a big mouth will become available "around" February.


Now, if you haven't already claimed Piranha Plant, the download code to redeem the character will be emailed to you within 72 hours once you've purchased the base game from the eShop or claimed your Gold Points manually with a physical copy of the game.


If you don't purchase the game and redeem the Gold Points before the end of the month, you'll miss out on nabbing the fighter for no extra cost.
