Photo by Bryan Terry, The OklahomanLOS ANGELES – Both Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook will miss Thursday's game against the Lakers with ankle sprains.

Westbrook, who will miss his first game of the season after starting the first 55, picked up a left ankle sprain in the third quarter against the Warriors on Tuesday.

Anthony missed just his second game of the season due to injury after playing only six minutes against the Warriors before spraining his right ankle.

Thunder coach Billy Donovan did not reveal the starters for each player, but Josh Huestis started last game at shooting guard for Andre Roberson .

Against Dallas on Nov. 13 when Anthony sat with a sore back, Donovan started Jerami Grant at power forward.

Starting point guard Lonzo Ball was already ruled out with a sprained left MCL in his knee, and the Lakers are without Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. , who were traded to Cleveland at the trade deadline earlier in the day.
