Duke's 71 first-half points against St. Francis (Pa.) one shy of school record

Duke didn’t figure to have any trouble against a visiting St. Francis (Pa.) team at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night.

Yet that was the case as the Blue Devils dropped 71 – one short of tying a program record for points in a half – on the Red Flash.

They did it behind 17 points by Marvin Bagley III, 12 from Gary Trent Jr. and 11 from Wendell Carter Jr. Grayson Allen chipped in 9 points on 3-3 shooting from the field.

The Blue Devils probably won’t put up 71 more points in the second half as they have this one well in hand.

They entered the game 10-0 and atop the AP Poll – needless to say, they are well on the road to 11-0 headed into final exam week.
