NEW YORK — Twenty years from now, when NBA historians debate the greatest team ever, the Warriors should boast a few unique distinctions: (at least) the most dominant three-year stretch in league history, four Hall of Famers — including two former MVPs — in their prime, a bench loaded with former starters.

With Kevin Durant sidelined by a sprained left ankle, the Warriors again showcased their depth as they weathered a tough second half for a 118-111 win Sunday night over the Nets at Barclays Center.

As Durant watched from the visitors’ locker room, Stephen Curry delivered a steady stream of highlights, finishing with a season-high 39 points on 14-for-24 shooting, a season-high 11 rebounds and seven assists in 33 minutes.
