It should come as no surprise that in the lone game Love was absent, an Oct. 26 date with Oregon State, the Cardinal was almost stunned by the hapless Beavers.
The Bears have the 70th ranked rushing defense in the country, allowing a little more than 170 yards per game, to running backs who are not named Bryce Love.
The Bears remain led by Ross Bowers under center, who threw for two scores and 259 yards while throwing just six incomplete passes in a two-touchdown win over Oregon State.
