Update: Jerry Jones says Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick fractured hand in win ...

Update: Orlando Scandrick has a fractured hand, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after Dallas' 19-3 win over the New York Giants.

Original post: ARLINGTON -- Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick was playing his first game as a team captain when he led with his shoulder on a second-quarter tackle and hurt his hand.

Scandrick pushed second-year Giants receiver Sterling Shepard out of bounds after a 12-yard completion on a wheel route from Eli Manning.

The injury comes just days after Giants head coach Ben McAdoo joked he had no idea who New York would face in a young Cowboys secondary.

Cowboys rookie CB Jourdan Lewis, whom Dallas took in the third round right after Awuzie, was inactive Sunday night after hamstring issues sidelined him through training camp.
