Key Matchup: Patriots will have hands full covering speedy Hill


Mark Daniels Journal Sports Writer MarkDanielsPJ FOXBORO — The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t known for their offensive weapons.


This is a team that prides itself on defense with five Pro Bowl caliber players in Dee Ford, Justin Houston, Derrick Johnson, Eric Berry and Marcus Peters.


Although quarterback Alex Smith isn’t on the same level as Brady, he does have a couple of weapons that can pick up yards in a hurry in tight end Travis Kelce and receiver/returner Tyreek Hill.


“[Chiefs coach] Andy Reid does a good job of utilizing him and giving him the chance to take advantage and make big plays in the game.


Since Butler is coming off a rough preseason, where he allowed touchdowns in his last two games, a solid outing would go a long way.
