Arkansas makes in-state recruits top priority early in evaluation period


The Hogs also contacted Pulaski Academy tight end Hudson Henry and Bentonville West wide receiver Jadon Jackson on Sept. 1 via Twitter direct message.


He signed with the Bulldogs as a 4-star prospect in the 2016 class from Clinch County High School in Homerville, Ga., and redshirted last season as an outside linebacker in Georgia’s 3-4 system.


Arkansas defensive line coach John Scott Jr. has already had some success recruiting prospects from Clinch County since arriving in Fayetteville last February.


Serving as the primary recruiter in the Peach State, his first commit was 2018 defensive end John Mincey in July .


Brown joins fellow 4-star prospects Deondrick Glass (Katy, Texas) and John Emery Jr. (Destrehan, La.)
