What Nick Saban said on ESPN's College GameDay

As part of the buildup, Alabama coach Nick Saban stopped by the College GameDay set in Atlanta.

— He praised Calvin Ridley, saying the player is a leader for a young receiver group at Alabama.

Saban said new Alabama offensive coordinator Brian Daboll will do a good job of moving Ridley around within the Crimson Tide’s scheme.

— He said special teams will play a big part in the game Saturday night.

— He said he has been pleased and proud with the way Alabama’s athletic department has supported Crimson Tide players who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
