Kluber threw his second straight complete game and fourth of the season, but when he walked off the mound in the ninth inning, he was trailing 1-0 and the offense looked incapable of scoring.
Jackson, with two out, battled Holland, who leads the big leagues with 34 saves, through eight pitches before blooping a single into right center field to score pinch-runner Brandon Guyer.
In the eighth, Gomes and Jason Kipnis singled, but Francisco Lindor popped out and Almonte hit into a force play.
In the seventh inning, with Carlos Santana on first and one out, Zimmer sent a weak pop to the mound against lefty Chris Rusin.
