
AT&T chief financial officer John Stephens said the company is confident the deal will close by the end of the year.
John Butler, a telecom analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence, said Tuesday's detailed breakdown of customers shows AT&T is gaining confidence in its new product.
Revenue rose nearly 11 percent internationally, driven by new wireless subscribers in Mexico and Latin America, Stephens said.
