The organization said in April that Apple had informed it of its decision to build up its own particular graphic chips and would never again utilize Imagination’s handling Apple chips in 15 months to two years time.

“Imagination Technologies announces that over the last few weeks it has received interest from a number of parties for a potential acquisition of the whole group,” it revealed.

“The Board of Imagination has therefore decided to initiate a formal sale process for the group and is engaged in preliminary discussions with potential bidders.”

Apple’s decision affected Imagination’s drop in value up to 70% the firm was never able to bounce back from that point.

Accordingly, Imagination said it wanted to offer two organizations, its installed MIPS processor innovation, and mobile network division Ensigma.
