West Brom has announced that club manager Tony Pulis has been sacked. The 59-year-old leaves his position at the club after managing just 2 wins in his last 21 Premier League games as head coach. Th decision was made following the 4:1 defeat to Chelsea.
West Brom are just one point and a spot above the relegation places after playing 11 games with no win in all competitions.

Chairman John Williams told the club’s official site: “These decisions are never taken lightly but always in the interests of the club,”
“We are in a results business and over the back end of last season and this season to date, ours have been very disappointing.
“We would like to place on record our appreciation of Tony’s contribution and hard work during a period of transition for the club which included a change of ownership. We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Meanwhile, Assistant head coach Gary Megson has been put in charge as caretaker manager.
