Wilshere expresses dissatisfaction with Arsenal critics.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshire has insisted that Arsenal were on the wrong end of criticisms after the Premier League loss to Watford last weekend, whilst backing the team to return to winning ways.

Troy Deeney who earned the equalizer for Watford through a 71st minute penalty disputed Arsene Wenger’s claims that the penalty was behind the loss, ando also went ahead to question Arsenal’s mentality.

“As a player if your attitude is questioned, it’s horrible,” Wilshere said. “I look around this team and you can’t question our character.

“People try to put us down, they always have. I don’t think the comments were justified. When we look back at the game we look back at ourselves and what we did wrong. I don’t think we can look back and question our character.”

Arsenal are 6th on the log and have lost just one out of their last eight matches in all competitions. Wilshere expressed belief that the Gunners would return to winning ways.

“We will move on. We have a game tomorrow (on Thursday) and another big game at the weekend, and we have seen with this team that the players can bounce back quick – and we will do that,” Wilshere added.
