The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train that was scheduled to be completed by 2023, has advanced its completion deadline to August 15, 2022. As per a report, the civil work on the 508km-long Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor (MAHSR) has been fast-tracked and will begin in June this year. The railway authorities have advanced the completion deadline so that it coincides with 75 years of India's independence.
